

Mundo Latino, Celebration of Cultures, the Latino exhibit presented during
Hispanic Heritage month at The State Fair of Texas, September 25 –
October 18, 2009 in Dallas, Texas is produced by Strategic Events.
In its fourteenth year at the State Fair, Mundo Latino features an exhibit
highlighting the rich Latino culture. The theme
changes every year featuring dance, music,
food and educational programs from artists
and groups representing the Latin world
including Mexico, Spain, Central & South
America, and the United States.
The State Fair of Texas, the largest state fair
in the country,
is the perfect setting for this
Latino cultural exhibit. Mundo Latino is
presented in the historic Hall of State located
in the center of Fair Park on International
Boulevard. “Latino Sports Heroes” is the theme for
the 2009 Mundo Latino at the State Fair of Texas. The exhibit centers on the
influence that Latin Athletes have had on Sports. The exhibits comes to life
through photographs, uniforms, sports equipment, memorabilia, artifacts,
photographs, video and personal appearances.

The mission of this exhibit is to educate the greater
community about the traditionally rich cultures of all Latino
people while providing a highly visible venue for Latino
artists, educators and performers to present their creations.
